2004

Initiative 148

2011

Senate Bill 423

The Montana Legislature passed SB423, significantly restricting the medical marijuana program and imposing strict limitations on providers.

2016

Initiative 182

Montana voters approved I-182, reversing many of the restrictions imposed by SB423 and reinstating a more accessible medical marijuana program.

2018

Federal Farm Bill

2019

Senate Bill 176
